So what did I learn at Women's Conference?? Pretty much not to eat Krispy Kreme doughnuts at one in the morning or you'll have very interesting dreams....like racing and miniture boxer tumors.
I also learned it is really fun to sneak an extra person in to sleep on the floor, steal mattresses from other bedrooms and staying up until three o' clock in the morning.
I also learned that Heather finds bald weird men attractive at RED ROCK. Which he became increasingly so after he gave us a free Bread Pudding for dessert. He also had hair that hadn't been shaved for a while trailing down the back of his neck and very sexy white tube socks...NOW THAT'S THE BREAD PUDDING TALKING.
I also learned that BLONDE'S don't nessicerrily (SP) have more fun as I was the only blonde in a crop of Brunette's.
I learned a lot about Minerva Teichart. A fabulous American Mormon Artist. I have been ooogeling over some of her paintings, I first noticed them in the temple. So beautiful. I went to her Art exhibit at the Museum on BYU campus with Kelly and Ally,so AWESOME!!
I learned I REALLY missed my husband and children, and my wonderful bed. Yes, especially my bed as anyone who knows me or has known me for a long time knows how much I love my bed and to sleep.
I learned that cold nacho's even when your starving aren't really that tasty.
Maybe BYU isn't THAT bad...I still love ASU more....
I loved the classes, running into my sister in law and hanging out with some very fab women..a shout out to Heather, Holly, Ally and Kelly.
The classes were top notch and I learned important personal lessons from each one. I think that the MOST important thing was not heard but felt as our newly sustained Prophet Thomas S. Monson walked into the room and a group of women started to sing, We Thank Thee Oh God For A Prophet. The spirit witnessed to me that He is our Prophet. How thankful I am for modern revelation.
Maybe the best part of women's conference?.... Coming Home to a family who misses and loves you. What a sweet family I have. AND the two sets of cards, clean house, folded laundry, and two bouqets of flowers. AWESOME... Is hould definantly go to women's conference again.
